Angela possesses an edginess that sets her apart from the typical blonde (girl-next-door type) actress and makes her the right choice for white trash gone good, young mom, mature young woman who’s been around the block, hard worker, someone with a cause, lesbian, and rocker type roles.

Since a very young age, performing has been in Angela’s bones. Despite her parents fervor and strong efforts to encourage her to catch the tennis bug, she put on home performances and begged them to enroll her in dance classes. Academic teachers introduced Angela to acting, casting her in lead roles in school plays growing up. The spark was always there. She loved every minute of the process – the classes, the rehearsals, and most of all, the performances/shows. Angela’s passion for performing stems from the ability to reach and touch others. Life can be so difficult and she loves how watching a movie or going to a show helps people realize that they’re not alone, that we all experience similar events and emotions, or how it can simply offer an escape to take one’s mind off things.

Angela has worked very hard to establish a strong social media presence to reach others. With 31,000 followers on Twitter, 25,000 on Instagram, 3,300 on Snapchat, and over 10,000 connections on LinkedIn, Angela has demonstrated her driven nature and that there is something about her that others are drawn to.

Angela grew up in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida, and obtained her Master of Arts degree in mental health counseling from Rollins College in 2009. In her spare time, she currently coaches college students and also enjoys writing, yoga, music, Thai food, thrift store shopping, breakfast/brunching, the beach, traveling, time with friends, coffee, and The Price is Right.

Angela believes girls are powerful and supports the charity Girl Up. When girls are educated, healthy, and safe, they transform their communities. When girls stand up for girls in need, they empower each other and transform the world. As the United Nations Foundation’s adolescent girl campaign, Girl Up engages girls to take action. Led by a community of nearly half a million passionate advocates raising awareness and funds, our efforts help the hardest to reach girls living in places where it is hardest to be a girl.

Girl Up ensures that adolescent girls can go to school, see a doctor, participate in their communities, and live free from violence is key to driving social and economic change. Investing in girls is necessary to end poverty, strengthen communities, and build a more just and peaceful world.

Every person has the potential to make a difference in the life of a girl. Join Angela in supporting this great cause by following the link below.
